How do I register?

Last update 16 February 2017

You should first determine whether you need to register your business with NICNAS. Registrations and renewals are online at NICNAS Business Services. If you are a new registrant, follow the sign up prompts on the NICNAS Business Services site.

If you need to register with us, your next step is to calculate your registration level.

After calculating your registration level, register online with us and pay the fee that applies to your registration level.

You may also need to notify your chemical or have a chemical assessed by us before you import or manufacture that chemical.

You must register with us before you start importing or manufacturing.
