Providing secondary notification information

Last update 17 August 2017

Even after we have formally assessed a new or existing chemical, there may be a significant change in circumstances requiring a reassessment of particular aspects of the chemical. This is called a secondary notification and assessment.

NICNAS will assess the information you provide on the changed circumstances and determine if they impact significantly on the original report's findings. If so, we will call for secondary notification of the notified chemical through the Chemical Gazette.
