Reforms consultations

Last update 29 March 2017

The expected date for full implementation of the Reforms is September 2018.

Since the announcement of the Reforms in May 2015 we have been consulting with the community and industry. Your feedback has played a vital role as we work towards the implementation of the Reforms.

With the release of each Consultation Paper, the public and industry have been invited to submit their comments online or in writing. Our Reforms team are also available to talk with anyone who is interested in discussing the proposed changes.

Current consultation status

Consultation Paper 4 is the last public consultation on the approach to developing new legislation and closed on 11 November 2016. After we consider final public submissions, drafting instructions will be prepared.

Staying informed

It is important to us that the community and stakeholders have easy and timely access to any updates on the Reforms. We publish updates on our website and also spotlight important information on our homepage and in our news and events section.
