This glossary contains a brief
description of terms relevant to an understanding of the NICNAS
Annual Report for 2004-05. The terms described in the glossary
do not substitute for definitions contained in the Industrial
Chemicals (Notification and Assessment) Act 1989 (the Act).
An interpretation of terms relevant to the operation of the
Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme is given
in Part 1 Section 5 of the Act. |
