Chemicals nominated for assessment under the NICNAS Priority Existing Chemicals (PEC) program are screened for selection. Anyone with a concern about the public health, occupational health and safety, or environmental effects of an industrial chemical in use in Australia can nominate it for assessment by NICNAS.
