Next year NICNASs business focus will be Building a better regulatory framework. NICNAS will commence implementation of the outcomes of the EC Program review as well as full implementation including legislative underpinning of the cosmetic guidelines and of of the remaining elements of the LRCC.

With respect to the Governments ongoing program of regulation reform, a review of the regulation of disinfectants will be carried out jointly by NICNAS and the TGA, including the identification of any other regulatory interface issues with other regulators.
