NICNAS Fees and Charges 2011-12

The National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS) recovers the full cost of its regulatory activities through fees and charges from industry.  Each year, the level of fees and charges is reviewed in consultation with the NICNAS Industry Government Consultative Committee. 

NICNAS cost recovery activities are reviewed at least every 5 years in accordance with the Government’s Cost Recovery policy and guidelines.  A NICNAS Cost Recovery Impact Statement is currently under development.

 

All NICNAS fees and charges for 2011-12 will be retained at 2010-11 levels, pending the outcome of the review of NICNAS’s cost recovery arrangements.  NICNAS fees and charges will be revised as required, following completion of this CRIS.

All NICNAS fees and charges are in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and are exempt from GST.
