Medicines and Agricultural/Veterinary (AgVet) Chemicals

 

Many medicines and AgVet chemical products may also present a risk of poisoning if improperly used, so they may also require poisons scheduling as part of the control mechanisms available.

 

The scheduling of such chemicals and products is considered by the National Drugs and Poisons Schedule Committee (NDPSC) and may be recommended for adoption in States and Territories poisons legislation by their inclusion in the Standard for the Uniform Scheduling of Drugs and Poisons (SUSDP).
