forms and checklists, is available from our website. The essential
procedural manual for industry, the NICNAS Handbook for Notifiers,
can be downloaded free from our website.

More than 1,000 public chemical assessment reports
on chemicals available for use in Australia, providing
recommendations for risk management of the safe use of these
industrial chemicals. This collection is constantly updated as new
reports are published.

The Chemical Gazette, a monthly government
publication providing updates on chemical assessment legislation and
issues plus new NICNAS assessment reports.

The Australian Inventory of Chemical Substances (AICS)
provides a list of industrial chemicals available for use in
Australia with information such as their Chemical Abstracts Service
numbers. Importers and manufacturers needing to notify NICNAS of new
industrial chemicals coming into Australia are required to search
the non-confidential section.
