Will the efficacy of sunscreen products be maintained under new arrangements?

Yes. The efficacy of a sunscreen-containing product must be tested in accordance with the Australia New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 2604:1998. Cosmetic products containing sun filters are required to meet relevant conditions under the Australia New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 2604:1998.
