I am a formulator. Are annual reporting requirements relevant to me?

Formulators need to determine whether they are manufacturing a new chemical.

Usually, formulating, mixing or blending does not lead to a chemical reaction. As the chemicals resulting from the process are the same as the ones you started with, no chemicals have been manufactured.

In this case and assuming that you sourced your ingredients locally or did not import new chemicals, you do not need to provide an annual report to NICNAS.
