Annual Reporting FAQs
I work in an organisation
with several Departments all using chemicals which qualify for an
exemption. Do we need to coordinate?
An organisation can either enter chemical data against their organisation or an organisational unit (i.e. Department). The application allows organisations to create organisational units with separate password authorisation. Once access is gained into an organisational unit then the authorised user can enter their chemical data. The organisational unit functionality is only available if the organisation has new chemicals that qualify as exemptions. Since Permits and Certificates are only issued against an organisation, it is not possible to create separate organisational units to report against permits or certificates. In summary, it is the responsibility of the organisation to manage how it enters chemical data into the application and fulfil its annual reporting obligations. |
